Ice ice baby

Today was my day off and Alex (my boyfriend) was off school because of the snow so we went to Liverpool on a shopping trip. The ice was lethal and several times we nearly ended up on our arses! However, we had a lovely munch in Eddie Rockets, minus the usual waffles because we were so stuffed.

Day off

College has been closed today due to snow, and thank the lord! There was no way I was going to attempt to climb the mountian, i'd need a ski lift. Anyway, it is lovely to be off today as now i am off til next Monday- lovely. I havent been out in the snow yet today, i'm waiting for my boyfriend to get here. So i took the time to scan pages form my log book from my last project in college, which was 'Fashion as fun'. I chose to base mine on a theme of flowers (quite boring yes) and the end result was a skirt based on my theme.

The pages from my log book is research on upcoming trends, research on different skirts, and also of designers who I think have made fashion fun, and designers who took inspiration from my chosen theme of flowers.









As you can see, I like to use alot of collage :p
Anyway, i'm hoping we're in for some more snow!

Oh the weather outside is frightful

It's snowing really heavily here on the wirral in northwest England. All of England is covered! These are the biggest snow flakes i have seen in my life- it's very exciting. College was closed early today which was a good and bad, as I got the train and then trecked up the icy mountain just for a few hours. However coming home early is always a treat, and i stopped off at H&M on the way home, the whole city centre was dead which is a rarity for Liverpool! Perk of the day was watching a man practically ice-skating to work down the mountian. The woods behind my house look amazing.

Winter is my favourite season, so i'm praying that the snow keeps a-coming :).

So i shall start with yesterday.

Yesterday my boyfriend and I set out to look for some jeans for him but with the January sales on it's not possible to come away empty handed. So I bought some lovely new super skinny jeans which I can not bend my kees in. To quote my lovely boyfriend "nobody under 40 can pull off those jeans" as they are the same colour as the origional levi's jeans which your dad may wear... whatever i like 'em! :D I also bought a vest top from the mens which is massively oversized.. booyah! A New Year

I had a blog over a year ago but I never updated it. I've decided to get motivated and do a new one, most of it will just be random stuff, but mostly fashion related. I am currently studying fashion in Liverpool and love to experiment with my style. I don't tend to follow trends and always I clash my clothes- i'm not a fan of matchy matchy outfits.
