You and your sister live in a Lemonworld

So, to start- unfortunately Alex and I didn't make it to London yesterday. As there's been heavy snow we didn't want to risk getting stranded down there, i'm gutted as I really wanted to go around Christmas. Instead we ended up Christmas shopping in Liverpool. I bough a few gifts and treated myself to some new trousers, I got the ones i'm wearing in the photo as well as the same pair in camel from Zara, I couldn't help but buy both. They're great simple trousers which will look ace thrown on with almost anything. I also bought a pair of neon coral skinny jeans from H&M, I don't really go for neon colours but these I really liked. I'll be sure to post a look/photo of them soon.

Before I decided to take some photos for my blog in the snow in my garden- bad idea. I almost froze to death! And my poor fingers and toes felt think they were gonners. My own fault for not wearing any gloves socks.

Wishing for some more snow before Christmas! I'm going to go wrap presents now and watch some more festive T.V. Hope you're all enjoying the holidays! Love Chloe x

Weep little lion man

Hello my lovely readers, it's been a while!
I broke up yesterday or Christmas break which means I will have more time to post on my blog. Everything feels like it's been put on fast-forward right now so hopefully the two weeks away from college will be good for me and I can watch many many festive films. Even though I'm going to be chained to my desk for a good few days I don't care because my boyfriend is home fron university on Saturday, it's been a month since I last saw him. And good news is that we're off to London on Sunday to do some shopping, I really can't wait! More good news, is that my new 50mm lens for my camera arrived the other day and it's brilliant. You'll be able to see it most in my portrait close up shots- they're much sharper and crisp.

So today... after watching a lovely film I took some photos in my garden. I'm wearing my cossack hat (which, if you haven't noticed by now, rarely leaves my head!), a blazer from Zara, tapered trousers from H&M, a Ralph Lauren Shirt, cable knit jumper from American Apparel and boot by Bally. I look like i've just stepped off of my horse but hey, my little doggy seems to be a fan.

Have you got any exciting plans for this Christmas? I'd love to hear. Also, link me to your favourite blogs, I love finding new people to follow!
Speak to you all soon, Chloe x

watching paint dry

Hello my lovely readers.
I've spent the past two days in work so tonight i've been cracking on with some design work. I apologise for my lack of outfit posts lately, i've found it really hard to find time and a place to take photos! I may post one tomorrow so watch this space.
Here is a little snippet in photos of what i've been doing

And I have to show you my new Zara blazer I picked up whilst visiting my boyfriend in Sheffield last weekend, It's such a great jacket and can be thrown on with almost anything to smarten up an oufit. I've worn it with my green highwaited jeans from american apparel teamed with a ralph lauren shirt & jumper

I love the check fabric, and with Zara you can gaurentee their garments will last. Great investment pieces!
Speak to you soon! x

With winter comes the need for investment in a new pair of boots, not only stylish but durable too. Last year I stumbled my way through the winter months in a pair of military boots with no grip on the heal. As you can imagine this was terribly dangerous however somewhat humorous- I must admit that I did enjoy ice skating round for a while, and fortunately I only fell once during that winter. So, with a new season comes a new pair of boots, I know I’ve just invested in my Bally boots but they're far too beautiful to abuse in such weather. I'm leaning towards the Chelsea style boots as you can throw them on with almost anything, they can look equally as good with trousers as they can with a skirt/shorts. Despite this, I really do have a passion for lace ups, there's something about lace up boots that excites much more than basic pull-on boots.

Given the change, ultimately I’d go for these no questions asked but that's definitely not going to happen.

I've contemplated breaking into my Dad's garage and engraving my own brass plates to attach to lace-ups. However, instead of Chanel I'd engrave my own name. So tempting.
For now though, here are some boots i've found whilst scouring the internet

ASOS ALFIE leather Chelsean ankle boots

As above

ASOS Annabelle lace boots

ASOS Ashley tweed boots

KG Bt Kurt Geiger Hawley lace up suede heel ankle boot

Seychelles Gallium lace up flat ankle boot

Carvela scarp shoe boot

Decisions decisions, I think i'm probably going to go for the ASOS Annabelle lace boots, the Carvela's are such beauties but unfortunately not a realistic price right now. Hope you're all well!

an I-Dea

So, not so much to report on. I'm going to use images rather than words, some inspiration from winter issues of POP and I-D. I couldn't resist including the beautiful Bambi in there

If the silence takes you I hope it takes me too

Photographs my boyfriend took. Wearing my new Bally boots, my new coat and my new vintage jumper I bought from ebay. It's so warm and snuggly. I'm big on vintage jumpers right now, they look great thrown on with a pair of jeans and the bonus is and you won't catch anybody wearing the same one.

Hope you're all well, and I'd like to thank you all for your lovely comments/e-mails!
